Dave grew up on a dairy farm in the Ottawa Valley and because of this has never been afraid of getting dirty or long hours as the hardworking “farming mentally” has never left him. He proceeded to move his family to Halton Hills in 1984 and following a successful career in banking, transitioned into selling real estate in his early 40’s. Dave worked tirelessly to build up his Real Estate career and attributes so much of his success from the support of his friends, hockey teammates, parents of children that he coached, as well as people he worked alongside at different charities and clubs in town. Anyone who knows Dave collectively will say that he is the kindness, most genuine, fair and honest man that they know…not to forget his jolly sense of humour and famous eye roll – to know him is an honour and a pleasure. As Dave winds down into semi retirement, he is still a huge part of the business, always pushing his kids (Darren included) to keep focused on the client, always saying, “do what is right by them and this business will take care of you, but only if you put them first, we work for them, they don’t work for us…remember that”.
Growing up with her Dad, who has always been a successful and prominent Realtor in Georgetown from the beginning of his career in 1992, Melissa is the definition of a “Real Estate Kid.” Melissa remembers the special time she had with her Dad, when he drove her to school everyday, it was the only time she would see him with his schedule and the hours he put in, to build what is now a thriving second generation family business, which she is so proud to be a part of. Melissa’s favourite part of real estate sales is connecting with her clients who usually become friends. Melissa absolutely enjoys people and networking is her favourite thing to do, only second to being a mommy to Rome and Cruz, her son and daughter. Melissa has grown up in Georgetown, being a part of this town’s change and growth which has allowed her to develop a keen knowledge of all the neighbourhoods in town. Melissa prides herself on making the experience of buying or selling as fun and stress free as possible. With her funny sense of humour and kind heart you’ll want to sell your home every year!
A long time resident of Georgetown, Darren came to town in 1999 to raise his son, Dylan with his wife Charline. Darren joined the Krause’s in 2010 and quickly became part of the family, transitioning into the gel that would keep them all together and driven toward the common goal. Coming from a corporate golf sales background, Darren was able to take the partnership to a new level by implementing a little corporate structure into the family business. Darren’s calming demeanour mixed with his witty humour and utmost professionalism, earns the trust of his clients every time, proven by numerous referrals and repeat business. When not generating sales and leads for the business, Darren can be found on the golf course in the summer months and in front of the tv watching sports with his dog Max in the winter.
Darren has been an active residence of Georgetown since the age of 12. He has a rich background in real estate with his father being a real estate investor. The memory of his father renovating and flipping houses for profit in the late 1990s is still fresh in his mind. Darren brings ten years of real estate sales experience and high impact customer service systems to the table. He has first-hand experience using today’s new marketing tools to increase exposure to our clients’ homes. When you have Darren on your side to handle your home sale or purchase, he won’t quit until he’s achieved your goals and you’re highly and deeply satisfied. The result of Darren’s ambitious and driven approach to life is most evident. Darren has built a real estate career over the last decade serving Halton Hills and surrounding areas. Darren understands the importance of a family’s home and is 110 percent committed to giving his all to each and every client. When challenges arise throughout the course of a transaction, as they invariably do, Darren’s solution-oriented mindset allows him to guide his clients past those road bumps and bring their transaction to a successful conclusion. Darren is a loving father and husband, he enjoys time away with his family and getting involved with activities, you might even catch him dancing at his daughter’s dance at the end of the year as one of the Dancing Dads.
Matt grew up in Georgetown and fondly remembers playing rep sports, creating connections and building friendships throughout his childhood here. Matt attended high school at Christ the King Secondary School and went on to earn his Communications Degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2014. He has been working as National Sales Manager for TarHong since graduating university. Matt has had the pleasure of traveling the world in his current role and interacting with different customers at all different corporate and personal levels. He truly is a professional, ethical, hardworking and kind young man who looks forward to helping his friends, family and sports teammates acquire their very first or next home. Monica has been a Realtor in Georgetown since 2010. Monica grew up in Mississauga and went onto to study at the University of Toronto earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After starting her family she relocated to Georgetown to allow her kids to grow up in a smaller town. Monica always took an interest in homes and prior to her career in Real Estate she owned and operated an Interior Design Business for 10 years, for many of those years she called the Georgetown Marketplace home. What sets Monica apart is her keen eye for detail in ensuring that each of her listings are prepared impeccably to ensure the best showing condition possible, ultimately resulting in the highest and best price for her Sellers as well as her keen ability to connect with potential Buyers and narrow in on their wants and needs to match them with the perfect property.
